Awesome Camping And Fishing Resorts In UK

For many reasons, you might be looking at holidaying in the UK for some time to come, but this isn’t a bad thing. There are many glorious locations to choose from, and if you love camping and fishing, you are in for a treat.

We are delighted to say there are many awesome camping and fishing resorts in the UK. No matter your budget, the size or age of your ravelling party, or how experienced you are with fishing, we are sure you will find something that is right for you.

We’re pleased to share some of the most outstanding camping and fishing resorts in the UK with you.

Green Hill Farm Caravan and Camping Park

Located in the New Forest National Park, the Green Hill Farm Caravan and Camping Park offers camping, glamping and caravan stays. The fishing on offer in the park is a huge attraction, with two fishing lakes being the main appeal for anglers.

The site has been listed as a 5 star one by the AA while being listed amongst the best of British holiday parks by a number of resorts.

The high praise is fully deserved, and there is a lot for families and couples to do. However, for us, the glorious setting is an added bonus compared to the standard of fishing on offer.

Sun Haven Holiday Park

For many people, the beauty of fishing comes with peace, and if you are looking for a tranquil holiday park to camp in, the Sun Haven Holiday Park in the Vale of Lanherne is idea.

You are not too far away from tourist traps like Padstow and Newquay, while Mawgan Porth is a stunning beach within walking distance. However, for the camp itself, you are in for a quiet stay.

There is no bar or club on site, which is ideal for many who prefer to holiday without the noise that these venues bring.

Therefore, we think you’ll find it is the ideal setting for fishing, and many anglers agree. This is a popular attraction, and with the stunning Cornwall climate, we think you will love this setting.

Burton Springs Holidays

This Somerset destination is a well-known fishing and holiday site. With lakeside pitches you can get started as soon as you wake, and there are three fishing lakes for you to enjoy.

One of the best things about the resort is that you can borrow a wide range of fishing equipment. This will either save you bringing your own, or if you are a beginner starting out, you have the ideal opportunity to try the sport out for yourself.

It is a rather large site, as you’d expect from one that offers three fishing lakes, and it total, there are more than 13 acres to explore.

With the Quantocks stretching out and a range of West Somerset beaches to enjoy, you have everything you need to enjoy a fantastic holiday in Burton Springs.

Blackland Lakes Campsite and Fishing Lakes

Spread across 15 acres in Wiltshire, the Blackland Lakes Campsite and Fishing Lakes has everything you need to enjoy a fantastic fishing adventure.

There are three small lakes on site, with two for coarse-fishing, so no matter what type of fishing tickles your fancy, this family friendly campsite is sure to be of interest.

Bron Eifion Fishing Lakes and Lodges

The site itself is found in 40 acres of woodland, but it is the six-acre coarse fishing lake that is sure to welcome you to this peaceful and stunning resort. You are found at the beginning of the Snowdonia National Park, so you have a lot to explore, but we think you’ll make a beeline for the fishing opportunities on offer.

The relaxed nature of the site makes for a welcoming atmosphere, and if you believe fishing trips are all about serenity, you’ll love what is taking place here.

Purple Badger Camping and Fishing Lakes

You’ll be close to the heart of Leicester with the Purple Badger Camping and Fishing Lakes, but with the chance to fish, we think you’ll spend most of your time by the lakes! Night fishing is also on offer so if you are the sort of angler who prefers to cast off at night, this might be the perfect setting for you.

Westerly Lake Fishing and Caravan Park

This is an adults-only park, so this might make it unsuitable for some would-be anglers. However, with a billing of “the best roach and bream fishing in Yorkshire”, we known that many people will be tempted to book. There is also a lot of carp on offer, so if you are looking for variety, you have a lot to choose from.

The grounds are stunning, and with a thriving woodland area, there is plenty of wildlife to look out for. If you are keen to venture further, there are scheduled bus services to York and a nearby designer outlet but the fishing is more than enough of a draw for most guests.

We know you are going to find at least one fantastic camping and fishing resort in that list. Who knows, you might even enjoy a couple. If you have the time, you might even visit them all!

If you visit, many or them all, we’d love to hear from you, and get your views on them. We also know there are many more camping and fishing resorts in the UK we could have added. If you have a favourite resort we haven’t listed, let us know and we’ll share it with others.
